Medicine Hat Police and ALERT say another significant drug bust has been made in our area.

ALERT says the 2 month investigation wrapped up with the arrests of 3 Medicine Hat residents on January 10 and last Friday.

Police seized 56 grams of fentanyl powder, along with methamphetamine and cocaine with an estimated street value of $30,000.

Investigators allege the three accused were part of a network transporting drugs from Calgary and distributing them in southeastern Alberta.

47 year old Wayne Shrubsall faces trafficking charges and remains behind bars.

32 year old Nancy Fehr and 33 year old Crystal Spence were also charged with trafficking. They’ve been released with conditions.
