All of Summer: Police Point Park

The Park is still open and here for visitors to experience our amazing local nature preserve.  As the weather improves, we hope people will take time to be outdoors appreciating all nature has to offer.  We also know that everyone needs to adhere to public health guidelines regarding physical distancing so please use appropriate caution when visiting our green spaces.  Also note that the washrooms are closed in Police Point Park so plan accordingly.

Because public programs are not feasible at this time, we are implementing on-line activities on a regular basis.  These activities will be varied in subject and for different ages.  They will be accessible through our Facebook page (Police Point Park) and our Website (www.natureline.info).  To start, look for new posts on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

June 7th: Walk the Block for Kidney Walk

This year, Kidney Walk is going virtual with Walk the Block across western Canada! Participate on Sunday, June 7, 2020, at 11 am (MST) and Walk the Block in your community to show our kidney community that we’ve got their backs!

Walk the Block is an opportunity to give the kidney and transplant communities a safe way to honour those affected by kidney disease and continue to raise funds for vital programs and services. Hosted by the Kidney Foundation, Kidney Walk helps support services such as financial assistance and peer support, which are now needed more than ever.
